About Us
Hello,
My name is Michele Wallick and welcome to our GF Adventures website. After experiencing my autoimmune diagnoses world tour (Hashimoto, Celiac and Sjogrens) and living with the subsequent constraints that gluten free living can impose on our lives, I’ve decided that it was time for me to help enable freedom for life's everyday gluten free adventures. Through products, services, education and support of the gluten free community GF Adventures is committed to doing just that.
My husband, Greg, and I are avid skiers, sailors, scuba divers and we love to travel. My career as an engineer and management consultant has taken me all around the world and life has treated me well. Greg and I are selling our home in Key Largo and we've picked up our sailing catamaran in Cape Town, South Africa earlier this year. Before we ventured across the South Atlantic, we explored Africa on several gluten free adventures. The wind will take us where it pleases and we’ll be along for the ride… the Pacific, the Galapagos, the Mediterranean… who knows where we will sail. I’ll be documenting my experiences and tackling the gluten free learning curve for every country we visit.
I hope you enjoy reading about our GF Adventures and leverage our experiences to plan your own life’s explorations.
Life isn’t about finding yourself, it’s about creating yourself!
Best wishes,
Michele
